NEWS & EVENTS
Our purpose is to bring new voices to the table, lift up calls to action from across our network, and help shape how we collectively show up in this moment.
In response to Covid-19, we all need to think differently. The pandemic and the economic inequality it laid bare are a wake-up call to Americans that we have work to do. There is a realization that our schools, our small businesses, and our communities are going to need to adapt in order to survive and thrive.
In March of 2020, Wesley Alexander, CEO of CoBiz Richmond, and Alfredo Mathew III, Founder of Working World LLC, teamed up to launch the 2020 Community Forum Series in an effort to promote community dialogue on the relevant issues of the day.
Our purpose is to bring new voices to the table, lift up calls to action from across our network, and help shape how we collectively show up in this moment. We view equity, education, workforce and entrepreneurship as the vital fabric that ties our social sector together. No one is better prepared to show us the way forward toward resilience and abundance than the changemakers, innovators, and servant leaders driving this work forward. We hope this series informs and inspires you to find the purpose in the future of your work.
